After it was confirmed that the $133 million dollar merger of the agricultural and vocational schools  was going to happen Gov Patrick held a cabinet meeting at the Alumni Field House on the Aggie campus. At the meeting the governor heard a presentation by Director Bourgeois and was given a tour of the campus.

Target date for opening of the new facility has been set for 2013.
